The UKIP are a busted flush
The UKIP are just as right wing as The Tory's have been since Thatcher.
The UKIP are using the immigration ticket to win votes to gain power just for the sake of power.

Totally agree, they are the nasty right wing of the Tory Party, but like Thatcher did in 1979, they are conning people. The EU certainly has its faults, but withdrawal under a UKIP programme would be completely disasterous.
I think the rise in UKIP shows one thing, that people are fed up with the main parties. UKIP has this guy at the helm who courts the media and therefore those that are looking for an alternative think this is the guy that will deliver it.
Sadly the Labour Party only exists in name only, despite some good people remaining in it. The Greens, where elected seem to evolve into the Lib Dems Mk II, whilst opposition to the pro-cuts element in the Greens largely comes from a few Trotskyites within the party.
Clearly another leftist alternative is required and one which can counter UKIP's rise.

I absolutely agree Parsley. But where is it coming from ?
This country needs a national renewal as after WW2, but is Ed Milliband going to come up trumps here ?
